SIGN UP: Blog tour for Dreamer by Ja-Mel Vinson

I am happy to announce that the first ever project organized by Caffeine Book Tours will be a blog tour for Ja-Mel Vinson’s debut novel, Dreamer. Read on to learn the details and how to sign up as one of the participants of the blog tour! (And if it’s any incentive, one incredibly lucky tour participant will receive a signed physical ARC of Dreamer — yay!)

Expected publication date: 19 March 2019

Synopsis: The day before moving into her new dorm, college freshman, Maya Lilac, has a haunting dream that ends with her coming face-to-face with a second version of herself. After being haunted by the dream during move-in day, she finally comes in contact with her double, nicknamed “Lucent”, and learns that she actually has powers and can—among other things—make her dreams come true.

Maya’s heritage, however, runs deeper when she discovers that she’s the True Dreamer, a person reaching back as far as Joan of Arc that’s tasked with protecting her species, as well as the world, from any and all threats… including her seemingly-peaceful and non-combative double. But, not everyone shares Maya’s vision that her clone isn’t out to harm anybody, especially her mother. As Maya and her mother fight over whether Lucent is a legitimate threat, Maya trains in her now-active powers to fulfill her destiny of protecting the world, whether she has to take care of Lucent or not.

When not reading books or writing his own, Ja-Mel Vinson’s making lesson plans and going to class.

A college sophomore that loves over-analysis and deconstructing video games, books, and movies, majoring in Adolescent English Education was the obvious choice. He lives in Brooklyn, New York with his mom and his cat, Blackie.

As a blogger based in the Philippines, the tour will follow my country’s time zone (UTC+08:00), but that shouldn’t stop you from signing up! The tour is open to all, especially international book bloggers, and it will run from the 25th of February to the 2nd of March.

Sign-ups will close after a week, and official participants will receive e-ARCs of the book, together with the necessary tour materials, a day or two days after. All participants will be included in an exclusive giveaway, wherein the prize is a signed ARC of Dreamer. Although this is a review-only tour, you are free to add other content of your preference.

  1. Good luck with the tour, this book sounds super intriguing, I’d sign up but I’m not able to read eBooks properly. Plus I really struggle to read eBooks :/ hope all goes well though!

  2. Although I can’t sign up [I’m due in a couple of weeks, so that would just be messy, haha], I wish you all the luck with your first blog tour! I’m definitely going to keep an eye on future blog tour plans of yours to maybe participate in. 🙂 ❤

  3. I had told myself I wasn’t going to sign up for blog tours unless the book really caught my interest and, well, this book caught my interest! (Also super excited for you hosting blog tours, Shealea!)
