I really hope y’all are not sick of Caffeine Book Tours yet because ya fave Southeast Asian girl is back at it with another international blog tour that’s set to run within the month of August. This marks my 8th blog tour for the year — and what do you know, August is coincidentally the 8th month! Ahhh!
Allow me to get really sappy really quick: thank you for all the enormous, generous amounts of love and support so far! My little brainchild, Caffeine Book Tours, is already six months old and I can hardly believe it! I’ve been blessed with so many opportunities that allow me to get great, wonderfully diverse books into the hands of the right readers who might not have as much access or resources as more privileged individuals. This means so much to me on a personal level, and I cannot adequately describe how grateful I am.
Eclipse the Skies caps off the lineup of Asian-authored sequels that I will be promoting through Caffeine Book Tours (the sign-up form for A House of Rage and Sorrow is still open, South Asian friends!), and I am extremely excited to introduce this incredible blog tour opportunity to all of you!
If you’re interested in being the first to learn about blog tour announcements, then I highly encourage you to sign up as an official coffee bean, which comes with the perk of being the recipient of email invitations to events organized by Caffeine Book Tours!
ABOUT THE BOOK
Genre: Young Adult, Science Fiction
Diversity tags: Asian author (Filipino), POC representation (East Asian, Southeast Asian)
Publication date: 03 September 2019
Publisher: Albert Whitman Company
Synopsis: Ia Cōcha never thought she’d be working for the Olympus Commonwealth. But that was before she found out her trusted brother Einn was trying to tear apart the universe. Now, Ia, the Blood Wolf of the Skies, has agreed to help the Royal Star Force on one condition: when she finds him, she gets to kill Einn herself.
Brinn Tarver has just come to terms with her Tawny identity when the public lashes out against her people, crushing her family. At her breaking point, she starts to question everything she believes in—including Ia.
After the death of his mentor, Knives Adams is doing his best to live up to a role he didn’t ask for as Aphelion’s new headmaster. Still, with each new step deeper into war, he feels torn between his duties and the pull of Ia’s radical—sometimes criminal—ideas.
As they fight to keep darkness from eclipsing the skies, their unpredictable choices launch this breathtaking sequel to explosive new heights.

ABOUT THE BLOG TOUR
The official hashtag for this blog tour is #EclipseTheSkiesTour, and it will run from August 26th to August 31st. Because I am based in the Philippines, it will follow my country’s time zone (UTC+08:00).
This is a promotional, international blog tour that accommodates all book bloggers, regardless of where they are located (be it inside or outside of the United States). East Asian and Southeast readers are highly encouraged to participate. (However, it should be noted that the slots for this blog tour are limited, and filling out the form does not guarantee anyone a slot.)
Sign-ups will close on June 26th, and the selected participants will be contacted via email a few days after. All official tour hosts will receive review copies of Eclipse the Skies and will be expected to post a review for the blog tour. Although this is a review-required tour, you are more than welcome to add other creative or promotional content of your preference.
This promotional blog tour is in cooperation with Albert Whitman Company (massive thanks to the publisher for working with me!). Hence, review copies will be distributed via NetGalley. This means that you need to have a NetGalley account in order to participate. However, physical review copies are available upon request for participants residing in the Philippines. If needed, copies of Ignite the Stars, the first book, will be provided.
For other concerns or inquiries, you are more than welcome to leave a comment!
