As a wide reader and huge advocate of diverse books, I think it’s extremely important to not only support marginalized authors but to also help underrepresented readers find great books that they can truly identify with. Personally, as a Filipino reader, Asian representation means the world to me — and I cannot adequately stress just how starved I am for authentic Filipino characters.
With all that said, I’ve constructed this index to make it easier to search and to find specific representations and the like.
