When I posted my first volume of this new blog feature, I was more than a little apprehensive about the feedback it would receive. I mean, yes, this blog is first and foremost my personal corner on the Internet. But at the same time, I don’t want to subject my readers to irrelevant content — and there’s a persistent voice in my head that says everything about me is irrelevant.
Thankfully, unlike the voice in my head, all the blog post comments I received were encouraging and heartening. Many of you see Cup of Content as an opportunity to get to know me better. I can’t fully express how grateful I am that most, if not all of you, are interested in knowing me outside of the guides, resources, and book reviews that I write.
Enough cheesy sentimentality. Let’s go over this volume’s cup of content!
Cup of Content
Cup of Content is a bi-monthly feature where I share compilations of content that I recently consumed, that left a lasting impression on me, or that I personally find valuable. It also highlights my latest interests and obsessions outside of books. In other words, Cup of Content consists of bits and bytes that tickle my fancy.
My Latest Obsessions
Much like two weeks ago, my latest fancy remains to be BTS! No, I still won’t participate in fandom culture. Yes, Jungkook and Taehyung are still my favorites to see and watch. Although I’m growing fonder and fonder of J-Hope every single day.
At this point, I think I’ve watched all their performances of Dynamite. Or at least the ones that have been released so far. I thought that their performance on America’s Got Talent would easily become my favorite one because V gets the exposure that he deserves. Also, that small scene in the car? Be still, my heart.
However, BTS decided to prove me wrong with their tiny desk concert! Everyone’s just vibing and having fun. I’m 100% here for it!
Moreover, aside from their latest single, I’ve also been avidly listening to Stay Gold, Spring Day, and IDOL. I’m still slowly making my way through all their songs. (If you have any specific song or performance recommendations, don’t hesitate to leave them in the comments below! I’d love to check them out.)
Aside from BTS, my other biggest obsession is Notion! If you’ve been following me for a long while, then you must know that I am the biggest planning and organizing nerd. I love finding the intersection between form and function. Between elegance and efficiency. Setting up my Notion has really taken over my life, and I have zero complaints.
Bits of Media
For the second half of September, I turned to Netflix more and more. This led to me abandoning most of the books on my monthly TBR. Which sucks. But I’ve been feeling really drained lately, and Netflix is much easier to consume.

? I figured that I might as well use this feature as an opportunity to highlight different bookish content creators! What do you think? Did I mention any of your faves?
? Have you tried playing around with Notion?

Your Notion setup is so cute! I haven’t finished setup my dashboard yet but I’m too lazy so it might take me till the end of the year to complete it 😂
I’m watching Haikyuu! on Netflix. You should give it a try if you like volleyballs or anime.

DOST Caraga offered a Courserea grant for those who are interested to learn through MOOQs so I was really been unto the site because I enrolled myself to three different courses. It was really fun and refreshing! I just miss the cramming during college. You might be interested as well? You can check out their Facebook page. Also, Inktober is here. I am into it too right now. I’ve been juggling myself with online classes, drawing, reading and blogging. 🙂
You’ve mentioned Yna, I’ve stumble to her blog before I went here. I like her stuff tho.
I’ve been seeing tweets about Notion lately but I don’t have the time to dwell myself on it.

Your Notion set-up is SO cute and relaxing! Props to you for getting that set up. I’m still fiddling around with mine and I keep getting a little overwhelmed to be entirely honest. 😅
And how’s Get Organized so far? I’m reluctant to add to my watch list when I’m so behind on basically everything, but it keeps catching my eye, especially since I deep cleaned my room this week! Love a good organizational moment.

Oo! I’ve been wanting to search for some new book bloggers to follow. I’m definitely going to check them out! And I’m so ready for BLACKPINK’s new album :D. I haven’t been up-to-date with BTS content so I have to catch up now! Thanks for sharing!

Honestly, all of BTS content is great. But I do have a few suggestions! Taehyung has a solo song with a performance called “Stigma.” It’s a super slow jam and it’s so beautiful to watch! Definitely a favorite. One of my favorite BTS songs is “Blood Sweat and Tears.” Definitely something to check out! The last suggestion that is just as good you would think it could be is a Jungkook solo “Euphoria.” It has a MV as well and you could probably find a live performance somewhere.

I keep thinking of maybe listening to K-pop and keep delaying it but reading you talk about how much you love BTS really makes me want to start!
I haven’t started setting up Notion either, due to my same procrastination tendencies but yours looks so wonderful and well, you’re really convincing me to start doing all this!
I love watching The Home Edit and it’s just so peaceful! I’ve also started watching The OC and it is such a wonderful TV Show and I don’t know why I didn’t;t know about it earlier!

i’ve been rewatching tatbilb and psisly and while i don’t like the author, i do think the movies are ok and are sort of my comfort movies even though i don’t like some of the characters.
i have not tried notion b/c school : ) but i might try doing something fun w it like making pages for my fave characters like how this one author did on twitter. maybe something for tvd, tbw, or wayw’s characters?

Love reading these! I’ve been listening to a lot more kpop since your last one because you talking about BTS reminded me that music still exists! Not commuting anymore meant I’d completely stopped listening to anything ?

For years I’ve heavily used Evernote. It’s pretty much my external brain. But it’s also been neglected by the powers that be, and it’s bugginess is no longer remotely quaint but rather frustrating.
With that, I’ve seen many folks rave about Notion. I’ve explored it a bit, but have found it rather overwhelming. I do think there’s something there, I guess I just need to invest the time to weed my way through it.
